Our Team Leader - Happy Hippos 2

Hi my name is Joanne and I have the equivalent of a Diploma of Children's Services qualification from England.

I came to Australia in March 2009, and now live in Arcadia. I started working for Fit Kidz when the Dural Centre opened, and I’m still loving it. I haven’t seen many Centres in Australia but I can’t imagine a better one.

I have worked with lots of little ones for several years now and I thoroughly enjoy the pleasure and rewards it gives me each day. Having grown up in a small farming village, I am used to a close community and I value the relationships that we build with the children in our care and their families.

I see each child as an individual and I encourage and support uniqueness in every way, whether it be cultural, personal or social. I enjoy programming our room to incorporate every child’s needs, and to develop their ability to learn and use their new skills. Most of all, I like our room to be fun for all of us!

I really look forward to meeting you and your little ones in the near future.
