Our Team Leader - Happy Hippos 2

Hey there, I am Miss Melinda, better known as Miss Min!

I started in child care after I left school in 2005 and started a Traineeship in a 0-3 years centre. I then joined Fit Kidz in February 2007 and worked casually until I finished my Diploma in Children’s Services.

I was looking into a full time position at Fit Kidz when I got the best surprise in the world; I fell pregnant with my beautiful baby girl, Matilda. I believe that working in the industry and then having a baby of my own, who attends Fit Kidz, has allowed extra insight into what you as parents expect and require for your children.

I am in my second year as a Team Leader, having been in Cheeky Monkeys 2 last year, and I am loving having the babies group.

I truly believe that every child is unique and beautiful. I also believe that children learn best through the environment around them that can be utilised to teach them extraordinary things.  Working in unison with families is also essential in creating a positive learning environment.
