Meet Our Director

Our Centre Director - Miss Renee

Hello, my name is Renee Cauchi and I am the Centre Director for Fit Kidz Learning Centre at Vineyard.

It has always been my passion to work with children from a very young age. I began studying my Certificate III in Children’s Services as soon as I left school, then followed this by studying a Diploma in Children’s Services. Whilst studying I worked part time in before and after school care at Riverstone, caring for children with additional needs.

After completing my Diploma I began my career working full time in a long day care setting, and undertook and completed a Bachelor of Teaching degree via correspondence. During this time I also joined Fit Kidz as a Team Leader in the Happy Hippos 2 Room.   In 2009 I looked after the Leaping Leopards room, and enjoyed preparing a group for school and delivering our Smart Start school readiness program for the first time.  Early in 2010, with Miss Rebecca moving to Dural, I was offered the opportunity to become the Director of this wonderful Centre, and I am very proud of the teachers that we have and the job that we do.

I have grown up at Riverstone, am currently engaged to my boyfriend of 6 years and look forward to our wedding in March 2011.  After that we will move to our new house at Bligh Park.

I believe in high quality care for each individual child. I have a passion for learning and teaching and believe everyday provides a new rewarding challenge. It is so important for us to ensure we provide challenges for children and opportunities for the best possible start to early education.

We are very fortunate here at Vineyard to have a mini-farm with sheep, chickens, a worm farm and our very own vegetable garden.
