Samantha<\/span><\/h2>\nI am the Director at Fit Kidz Learning Centre Turramurra.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text animation=”fadeInLeft” css=”.vc_custom_1460929648246{margin-bottom: 40px !important;}”]Hi my name is Sam and I am the Director of Fit Kidz Aberfeldy at Turramurra.\u00a0<\/span>My career started in 1999 when I\u00a0<\/span>completed my Diploma in Children\u2019s Services.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>I then jetted off to the UK where I\u00a0<\/span>taught in a pre<\/span>–<\/span>school for 6 months in the heart of London.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>I then went on to do agency work as I travelled, which\u00a0<\/span>allowed me to work in so many different environments as we<\/span>ll as giving me such fabulous experiences and\u00a0<\/span>memories I will cherish forever.<\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\nI returned to Australia, after spending 2 years travelling, to take up a role as a pre<\/span>–<\/span>school teacher in Brisbane,\u00a0<\/span>Queensland.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>This is where I landed my first directing role.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>After 3 years I decided on\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>a change and moved to\u00a0<\/span>Dunk Island in the Great Barrier Reef where I managed the Kids Club.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>This was a dream job, living and working on\u00a0<\/span>an island and getting paid to have fun with children all day every day.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]But all dreams must<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>come to an end and for\u00a0<\/span>me this was when cyclone Larry came along and destroyed the beautiful place I had called home for 3 years.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>So\u00a0<\/span>off to Sydney I came.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>I took on a role as a Director of an occasional care centre which again was an amazing\u00a0<\/span>experience\u00a0<\/span>and learning curve.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>From there I went on to direct a centre which became my home for the next seven\u00a0<\/span>and a half years.<\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\nAgain I felt it was time for a career change, which is what brought me to Fit Kidz.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>I joined the Fit Kidz family late<\/span>2013 and already i<\/span>t has been an amazing journey. I am super excited to progress my career with such a brilliant\u00a0<\/span>company and look forward to making so many more memories to cherish.<\/span><\/span>
