I am\u00a0better known as Miss Min.\u00a0<\/span>It has always been my passion to work with children from a very young age. I began studying my Certificate III\u00a0<\/span>in Children\u2019s Services as soon as I left school via a traineeship. I immediately began studying my<\/span>Diploma\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>through a night course at T<\/span>afe whilst working casually at Fit Kidz. I took a little time off in between to\u00a0<\/span>have my beautiful daughter Matilda.<\/span><\/div>\n

After completing my Diploma, I was offered a full time room leading position at Fit Kidz in Cheeky Monkeys 2. I\u00a0<\/span>then room lead in Happy Hipp<\/span>os 2 for one and a half years before being offered the exciting position of\u00a0<\/span>directing Fit Kidz at Glenwood North. I enjoyed the challenge of Directing and room leading the pre<\/span>–<\/span>school<\/span>room during 2011. I completed the year directing before welcoming my gorg<\/span>eous son Charlie into the world.<\/span><\/span>

I slowly came back on the scene at Fit Kidz Vineyard during mid<\/span>–<\/span>2012 on a casual basis until taking over from<\/span>Miss Renee in September 2013 as she went on maternity leave to have her beautiful baby girl. I have absolutely\u00a0<\/span>lo<\/span>ved directing at Vineyard and am so proud of the quality educators I am surrounded with every day. I am also\u00a0<\/span>doubly lucky as I get to see my Dad; Mr Kev each day as he works hard maintaining these exquisite centres and\u00a0<\/span>their incredible yards.<\/span><\/span>

I have grown<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>up in Western Sydney my whole life. I live with my fianc\u00e9 and our two beautiful children in our\u00a0<\/span>home at the end of our cul<\/span>–<\/span>de<\/span>–<\/span>sac. We are very excited to be wed after 10 years in May 2015.<\/span><\/span>

I believe in high quality care for each individual child. I have a<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>passion for learning and teaching and believe\u00a0<\/span>everyday provides a new rewarding challenge. It is so important for us to ensure we provide challenges for\u00a0<\/span>children and opportunities for the best possible start to early education. I am a big ambassador of cu<\/span>ltural\u00a0<\/span>tolerance and have great respect for the Aboriginal culture. My fianc\u00e9 and children are all Aboriginal. This is a\u00a0<\/span>culture we are very proud of and I endeavour to imbed the knowledge of this culture within the child care\u00a0<\/span>setting as well.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nWe are very f<\/span>ortunate here at Vineyard to have an incredible outdoor learning environment with an incredible\u00a0<\/span>bike track, tepee and sand pit. I am very passionate about sustainability and feel blessed to work in a centre\u00a0<\/span>with a chicken farm, worm farm, comport and veget<\/span>able gardens which the children all assist in maintaining\u00a0<\/span>and utilising.<\/span><\/span>
