Hi, I’m Min, the proud Centre Director at Fit Kidz Vineyard.
I started my career with Fit Kidz as a casual educator at the Vineyard Centre in early 2007, only a few months after the Centre first opened.
Since then, I have undertaken many roles including Lead Educator, Centre Director, Sustainability Officer, Educational Leader, and up until 2025, overall Educational Mentor within our Head Office team. Across all those different roles during those many years, the most important thing became evident to me; relationships. I truly value honest and deep connection with my team, the children we’re entrusted to care for, and their wonderful families.
During my time at Fit kidz I have achieved many things I’m truly proud of, including completing my Bachelor of Teaching, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as well as a Diploma in Leadership and Management. I have assisted in the establishment of a reading and writing program to support our educators, built a committee to rewrite our school readiness program as well as being a proud finalist for National Director of the Year award, all thanks to the support of such an incredible team. Of all of these highlights, none bring me as much pride as my three amazing and completely different children, all of which attended Fit Kidz in their early childhood education and care journeys.
I strongly believe that children deserve early learning spaces and educators that will support them, challenge them, be silly with them and that they deeply trust. I believe in strong connections to people and place, including caring for the natural world entrusted to us by the traditional custodians. I believe in viewing and respecting people big and small as unique individuals. I believe in working really hard to support children to have the best start in life and am very proud to have an excellent team to support that vision too.
We can’t wait to meet you and show you a little bit of what we do,
Min.
